the new moodza- 7 fingers

They represent the new hand signal of the gang.
The gang, at least in its desire to protest foreign invasions of the
illegal immigration kind and of the financial overlord kind,
has the people's support. That's Golden Dawn.
The Golden Dummies of Greek politics are going to
slap around some old politicians, too. These are things
that we like.

one life in the whorehouse of Economics

Life in the Eurozone is likened to life/work in a whorehouse.

Greece always has been the most important country

If we're talking about history, politics, democracy, higher learning, research, joie de vivre.
Greece is the word.

Nowadays , the continuation of the bankocracy depends on Greece's election today.
Of course, if they really want to guarantee the continuation of this experiment,
they could cancel the results, doctor the results or send in the army.

Otherwise, they can all f^%&*k themselves.

if it were the US, they'd just cancel the vote of those whom they don't want to vote.
see Florida, every four years.

no guns, but it's still warfare

It’s warfare.
There’s the hate campaign.
Fear mongering
(we’re gonna get ya. We got ya where we want ya).
Oligarchs are settling scores
and the people die en masse.
Red cross and charities move in to feed victims
and future victims.
Such are the rules of war.

THE VOICE OF OBEWON D-Pap

The Prime Marionnette, Papademos, is gone from the stage. However, he continues to re-appear in apparitions that only the true believers (idiots like ND and Pasok) pay any attention to. To the rest of us, he's invisible, even if he chimes in saying exactly what the Euro folks are saying:
There's no money for Greece until it behaves.
Except, he gives details about what will go missing,
and soon.
Has this affected your voting preference?

Metaxas all over again?

Will the party willing to cancel the Mnimonio and sort out Greece's immigration issues
please stand up. Oh, it's the Golden boys. Well, gotta do what they gotta do.

The last time that Greece took care of Greeks, stood up to foreigners,
told their stinking banks to piss off, and slapped Musolini badly,
and Hitler, fatally (as it turns out Schnitzel face, snow monkey Nazis - Mr Panos),
the government was a "fascist" army general, Metaxas.

 Goose-Stepping Hitler-ites Threaten Greece's Utopia
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 04/30/2012 14:01 -0400
In this case we really do hate to say we-told-you-so but our concerns over social unrest and the rise of extreme nationalism (here, here and here) in an austerity-focused and massively unemployed Europe appear to becoming ever more prescient. Just last week we saw extreme parties in France of all places receive high levels of votes and in a note today from BBC News, the leader of the Greek Socialist Pasok party, Mr. Creosote himself - Evangelos Venizelos, told a rally in Patras that voters should not allow neo-Nazis to "goose-step into Parliament with Hitler salutes".

The far-right 'Golden-Dawn' party appears likely to win a number of seats for the first time ever - gathering support as the anti-EU-bailouts party. Of course the Golden-Dawn'ers also want to tighten border controls (but in a different way than Spain we are sure) and expel immigrants among other things but with the two major parties (Pasok and New Democracy) look set to garner less than 50% of the seats between them - leaving the rest in a free-for-all among various more extreme left and right parties. We have long-argued (and recently confirmed by Soros in his lengthy discussion at INET) that the Euro-zone will end when the political compact becomes untenable - it seems we are drawing closer and closer to that dystopia - even if Mr. Venizelos throws his weight against these uprisings of democratically invoked last rites.
From ekatherimerini.com,
"Golden Dawn is an extreme phenomenon, I believe they are an example of fascism and we radically oppose them. It's an offense to our history and to parliament," he told Reuters, suggesting Greece could be experiencing its version of Germany's 'Weimar' years which led to the rise of the Nazi Party and Adolf Hitler.
Golden Dawn, which vows to expel both legal and illegal immigrants and meets under a flag of an ancient Greek symbol similar to the swastika, has won over many of Greece's poor by giving away clothes and food parcels.
It says it is simply a nationalist party and has attracted a large protest vote by attacking the bailout and what it calls German domination of Europe.

How to destroy DEH

Everybody needs electricity. How is it that Greece has managed to make a shambles
out of its power provider? The government bribed the unions with borrowed money
so as to make them look greedy. AND
they got DEH involved in collecting taxes, which the people revolted against.
Before you know it, DEH needs money, they go further into debt, and boom,
they get sold of as a leprous venture that foreigners will buy for 10 cents
on the Euro (dead currency walking).

Greece gives emergency cash to avert energy meltdown
                28 Apr 2012
With the electricity market in complete disarray, it was only a matter of time, before a possible dead end made its appearance
Greece will provide 250 million euros  in emergency funds to its ailing electricity providers to prevent a California-style energy crisis, government officials said on Friday.
The liquidity injection removes the risk of a financial chain reaction which, according to regulators, was threatening to bring the country's electricity system to its knees.... Greece's energy market has fallen into disarray due to a combination of stagnant power demand, rising fuel costs and a government decision to use PPC as a tax collection vehicle.
An increasing number of consumers stopped paying their electricity bills after the government started collecting a 1.7 billion euro property tax through them last year, in a desperate effort to meet its budget targets under an EU/IMF bailout.
Non-payments blew a hole into the accounts of PPC, which is Greece's biggest power producer and its sole electricity retailer. PPC, which posted a record loss in the fourth quarter, is also the biggest client for upstart producers generating about 23 percent of Greece's electricity.
... Energy is a sore point in the country's relations with its lenders. The EU and the IMF have been pressuring Athens to introduce more competition in its 5-billion euro retail power market by deregulating electricity prices and abolishing PPC's monopoly over coal, the country's cheapest and most abundant energy source. (Reuters)
ZH- “Quite an incredible move - to force the electricity provider to gather the property taxes - and while this attempt clearly failed”

How and why a government would steal its own money

I mentioned months ago that the Greek government would rob the public purse
and then ride to the rescue with "new money", to save the day.
Well, it's been done officially. The Haircut cost all the public pension funds
that were stupid enough to invest in Greek bonds.
Then the government paid off the bitchy hedgemen with money that was in
the accounts of the universities and hospitals, around midnight.

REVEALED: HOW VENIZELOS REGIME SECRETLY REMOVED 70% OF MAJOR HOSPITAL, UTILITY & UNIVERSITY BANK ACCOUNT FUNDS TO PAY BONDHOLDERS
Bank of Greece complicit in broadscale embezzlement revealed by respectable Greek health site
The illegally denied default of Greece entered a dramatic new phase this afternoon with the revelation by mainstream Greek public health website Health News that, shortly before midnight on March 8th – the eve of Greece’s psi completion on Friday March 9th – on average 70% of public utility funds in varous large, interest-bearing accounts at the Bank of Greece were raided. These included most of the State’s regional hospital budgets, various universities and (it is alleged) at least one utility company.
The shortfalls came to light late last week and this morning as various hospital purchasing cheques in particular began to bounce. The monies – estimated by one source to total some 1.4 billion euros – appear to have been used to pay off the tiny minority of private sovereign creditors who, under the original terms of their bond purchase, were entitled come what may to full payment of the bond’s yield entitlement.
Setting aside the amoral audacity of this act, it does yet again raise the issue of a Greece so utterly lacking in any real funds in the real world, that to pay off a minute proportion of the bondholders it had to resort to such a desperate measure.
“The Greek government used this money in order to purchase government bonds from various bondholders without getting permission from the bank account owners,” one reliable Athens source told The Slog in commenting on the story, “hospitals and universities have been robbed of hundreds of millions of Euros, absolutely essential for their core functionality.”
