not only did we manage to set up a great event, we did so and even left lots of
seats for the foreign guests.

We also got a chance to remind the others about just how much we have
to show for 4 thousand years of some of the best history
ever written.

However, we broke the bank. We paid the yanks a billion for security so
that they wouldn't need to arrange a terrorist attack. How's that for
blackmail?

Now we're a broken country. The laughing stock of right-wing
ball-scratching commentators. All of a sudden, we're lazy
because we enjoy life. Go figure.
